Many zippers recently have taken on a new look—hidden zippers that give the garment a smoother appearance. Unfortunately, as has been the case with many outerwear designs for many years, zipper longevity is usually not a high priority and that includes many leading names in the industry.

This is a proverbial good news bad news situation. The bad news is these newer zipper designs are not (yet) available to the general public. Some of these zippers even match the jackets unique color and are available only to the manufacturer. The good news is your beloved jacket can still have an attractive new zipper replacement for many more years of use.
Although the manufacturing tricks used to achieve these hidden zippers could technically be replicated, it would result in reversing what you’re used to making it a coordination frustration. Until and even if these zippers become available in the aftermarket, we can discuss your options to maintain the best appearance for your jacket while you also get to keep enjoying it with a perfectly functioning new zipper replacement.
